Catalog description

Explores five issues of global justice: war and violence; human rights, development and global institutions; immigration and refugees; gender; and democracy and communication. Argues that such problems outstrip the resources of the nation-state and cannot be addressed by political institutions and theories that focus on the state as the primary agent for ensuring justice.
