Catalog description

Explores the role that race and race-related ideas (such as proto-race, ethnicity, nationality and indigeneity) play in how we define a diverse society and how individuals identify themselves. Examines the meaning of race from various philosophical perspectives, as well as the nature of race, xenophobia, antiblackness, islamophobia and antisemitism. Develops an understanding of the nature of race in order to challenge racism and racial injustice.
