Studies the sources, nature, structure and extent of knowledge and justified belief. Possible topics include: skepticism, theories of perception, a priori knowledge, testimony as a source of knowledge, theories of truth, internalist and externalist theories of knowledge, the analysis of knowledge and foundational and coherence theories of the structure of knowledge.
