Catalog description

Focuses on practicing and implementing history taking and physical exam skills while providing medical care at an urban community clinic to an underserved community; and using simulation, task trainers, and in-person labs to teach and practice procedural and technical skills. Procedures include Lp lab, biopsy, cryotherapy, hemoccult, Foley, male/female GU lab, joint aspirations, joint injections, digital blocks, splinting. Also includes suture 2, ultrasound 2, BLS.
