Integrates foundational knowledge from previous course work of pediatric conditions commonly seen in community-based settings, including developmental disabilities, mental health disorders and behavioral disorders to explore clinically relevant and evidence-based best practices. Synthesizes evaluation results to implement evidence-based, theory-driven interventions that support participation and occupational engagement for children and youth in early intervention services and schools. Illustrates effective collaborative techniques and implements community education programs for infants through adolescents and their families.
