Introduces the basics of film cognition and the language of film analysis. Offers a critical overview of current tendencies in national filmmaking and the production of television series with a focus on transnational circulation of knowledge. Includes viewing subtitled films/series, discussing their circulation and reception, writing reviews and producing video essays.
