Catalog description
A variable topic course that engages students in practical and advanced research strategies, discussion, and assignments, enabling students to tackle realistic lawyering scenarios that mirror the demands of legal practice. Students encounter a purposeful range of primary law and secondary authority in relevant digital and print sources. Hypothetical problems and research scenarios require students to plan and demonstrate appropriate research choices, methods, and problem-solving techniques. Work and feedback throughout the course prepare students for a final simulation research project. Satisfies the advanced legal research requirement
