Workshop: Reform of the Criminal Justice System
Marquette University · UGRD · Fall 2026
1 section
Catalog description
Reforming the criminal justice system has a long history in the United States - a theme in our collective political culture as relevant today as it was in the past. Most legal practitioners agree that something should change, but there is less consensus about what works and what branch of government should drive the change. The workshop looks at the structure and critical decision points of the criminal justice system from arrest to incarceration and examine emerging innovations in the justice system's response to crime.
