Catalog description
Examines the legal system and substantive law of the Roman Catholic Church: Its sources, rules of interpretation, principles of rights and obligations, and major prescriptions in the areas of ecclesial governance, worship, education, and property. Special attention is given to differences between this codified system of law and the Anglo-American tradition. Issues of interest to litigators in church-related cases are addressed. Cursorily examines the procedural and penal laws of the Church.
