Catalog description
Students learn how to cover political events, public officials and policy issues for various media platforms. Topics include campaign reporting, government accountability, political ethics and the impact of media on public opinion. Students develop writing, multimedia and interviewing skills through real-world political reporting projects. Occasionally offered in terms ahead of national or state elections.
