Focuses on the role of the academic nurse educator in various learning environments within nursing programs. Specific techniques and evidence-based methods for teaching in skills labs, simulation centers, traditional clinical environments, and classroom and online environments are emphasized. Application of theory, evidence-based practice, curriculum, instruction, assessment and evaluation from prior courses is expected. Expert teachers in these environments participate with students in robust discussions and experiences with an emphasis on application of strategies to successfully conduct educational experiences in these environments.
