Catalog description

Provides an overview of clinical and medical microbiology as it relates to the nursing profession. Includes a survey of the structure, function, transmission, diagnosis and control of common microorganisms. Special emphasis is placed on the ancillary role of the clinical microbiology laboratory in the diagnosis of infectious diseases.
