Approach the metropolis of Berlin from multiple angles using a variety of media. Explore the communities and values that engendered revolutionary movements centered in Berlin. Examine the diversity of Berlin’s population and its evolution in light of multiple waves of immigration. Study Berlin’s impact of artistic, political and economic swings throughout the world. Understand the significance of contributions of individuals in Berlin and Germany to global politics, music, architecture and cultural memory. Taught in English.
