Introductory course in property & casualty (P&C) and life & annuity (L&A) insurance to help understand the foundation of the industry, including: products, customer needs, risk and regulatory frameworks, and distribution systems. Guest lecturers with deep industry knowledge will compliment textbook learnings. Structured to build a foundation for future study in insurance leading towards internships and full-time positions. Focus on specific CPCU designation may be part of this course.
