Teaches students the basics of writing and applying SQL querying language in order to retrieve criminal justice data. Provides students with the basic techniques and best practices for retrieving criminal justice data. Develops database concepts and knowledge that are useful in retrieving data as well as the limitations and challenges inherent in data.
