Catalog description
Discusses podcasting for journalists and other content creators. Demonstrates how to critically understand podcasts and their impact. Examines the storytelling process for podcasting; how podcasts are recorded, edited and launched; the various types of podcasts; and understanding the target audience for podcasts. Explores monetization and also ethics involving podcasting content as well as the societal impact/implications of podcasting in a broader context. Working knowledge of Adobe Audition is highly recommended.
