Analyzes the rhetorical and political practices that help sustain the public life of democratic societies. Helps students understand political communication and how to become informed, critical consumers of political campaigns by focusing on key theories and research in political communication. Enables students to critically evaluate scholarly work and apply theoretical frameworks to contemporary political contexts.
