Catalog description

Explores the ethical and legal dimensions of communication in professional and scholarly contexts. Students engage with major ethical theories and legal doctrines that shape communication practice. Students learn to analyze complex communication problems through both normative and legal frameworks, critically evaluate texts and cases from diverse communicative settings, and articulate reasoned approaches to ethical and legal decision-making in communication practice and research.
