Catalog description

Build on the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing through the study of contemporary Chinese societies. Aims to explore the main areas of contemporary Chinese life. Topics include economic and social equality, rural-urban migration, family, gender and aging, environmental issues, education, etc. Students enhance language skills and the understanding of contemporary Chinese life and culture through studying authentic materials and examining contemporary issues. Taught in English.
