Biochemistry is the body of knowledge upon which much of medical science is built. A living cell requires three things in order to maintain and propagate life: precursors, energy and information. Designed around the in depth examination of structure and function of selected precursors; how they are used to generate energy, store energy, or build more complex biomolecules; and how the information molecules control these processes.
