An introduction to numerical algorithms essential in scientiﬁc computation. Elementary discussion of error, interpolation, quadrature, solution of non-linear equations, and systems of linear equations. Programming concepts needed for implementing numerical algorithms. Selected algorithms are implemented on a computer or programmable calculator.
