Study of foundational concepts for Calculus, which include the real number Iine, functions and their graphs, essential functions (polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions), trigonometric functions, and an introduction to limits via sequences and series. This course satisfies the general education standards for foundational intellectual skills in quantitative reasoning.
