Catalog description
Students will work with HIS faculty to design a project in tandem with weekly onsite experience at a local museum, non-profit, state office, or partner organization. Students will be placed according to their career plans, academic abilities, and research interests. Students will be evaluated on the completion and quality of their project in addition to evaluations from their site supervisor. Regular reports and meetings with the coordinating faculty are required to earn credit. A maximum of 9 combined credits of HIS 460 may be applied to fulfill major requirements, and a maximum of 4 credits of HIS 460 may be applied to the minor.
