Global Engagements

Global Engagements allow students to apply the knowledge they have acquired through the Global Studies program and to gain practical experience in their scholarly and professional areas of interest. Global engagements can be completed through year/semester/summer study abroad programs, global studies internships, language immersion programs, global service work, faculty-led global travel, or through the completion of original scholarship related to Global Studies in a 300- or 400-level course related or an Undergraduate Research Experience. Registration for GLS 460 requires instructor approval and all study abroad programs should be coordinated through the Global Education Office (GEO).
