Catalog description

This course will introduce knowledge and skills needed to assess the physical fitness of individuals with special needs. The course focuses on the components of physical fitness for patients or clients with special needs. Special needs populations covered in the course include individuals with conditions such as pregnancy, metabolic and lifestyle diseases, mental health challenges, osteoporosis, arthritis, aging adults, children and adolescents, and neurological disorders.
