In this course, students will be exposed to the full range of the scientific bases on which the field of nutrition is based. This will include, but is not limited to, the biochemical and physiological aspects of nutrition, how nutrition overlaps with energy metabolism and energy balance, and a thorough exploration of the major components of dietary molecules, vitamins, and minerals.
