Catalog description

This course examines the principles and processes underlying the learning and performance of motor skills. Emphasis is placed on the scientific study of motor abilities, motor control, and the cognitive factors that influence movement such as attention and memory. Students will explore theories of motor skill acquisition, eUective instructional strategies, the role of augmented feedback, and the impact of practice conditions on performance and learning.
