Integrated Clinical Experience I is the first of three integrated clinical experiences for real world application of physical therapy practice in a supervised clinical setting. During this part time experience, learners develop skills in informed consent, examination techniques, therapeutic interventions, documentation, goal setting, patient education, and monitoring for changes in health status through guided and collaborative participation with a clinical instructor. Emphasis is placed on professionalism, ethical behavior, and commitment to patient safety and well-being. Learners begin to develop essential clinical skills aligned with Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs).
