Catalog description

Integrative Clinical Practice II is the second of a five-course series that integrates entry-level DPT competencies with real-world, clinical tasks performed by physical therapists, considering delivery across patient/client populations, healthcare settings, and the lifespan. Learners apply essential knowledge, skills, and behaviors to establish a foundation for entrustment across the Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) of physical therapists. Emphasis is placed on patient-centered care through impairment- based examination, safe and effective implementation of therapeutic interventions, documenting a plan of care, educating others, and communication to support informed consent. Learners integrate foundational principles of biomechanics, kinesiology, and exercise science to support evidence-informed clinical decision making.
