Catalog description

Evidence-Informed Practice II is the second course of a two-course series that introduces DPT learners to the principles and processes of evidence-informed practice, preparing learners as excellent consumers of evidence by integrating research synthesis with clinical expertise and patient values. DPT learners critically appraise studies in measurement, qualitative research, clinical practice guidelines, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses to inform patient and client management. Emphasis is placed on interpreting psychometric properties of standardized assessments and exploring frameworks of implementation science and knowledge translation to promote evidence-informed physical therapy practice.
