Analysis and design of steel structures based on the ANSI/AlSC 360 Speciﬁcation for Structural Steel Buildings published by the American Institute of Steel Construction. Topics covered in this course include load combinations, design philosophy, and analysis and design of tension members, compression members, beams, beam-columns, and connections. Both LRFD and ASD methods will be introduced in this course.
