Catalog description

This is the second programming course in computer science. This course builds upon the foundations of CST 171 and introduces students to advanced programming practicies. Topics include graphical user interface design, event-driven programming, multi-threaded programming, and effective use of common software developmental tools such as integrated development environments, debuggers, and the command line. Emphasis is placed on writing robust, maintainable programs and adopting professional developmental practicies.
