Catalog description

This is the first programming course in computer science. This course will provide students with an introduction to programming in C++ and structural programming. Material to be covered include but is not limited to: syntax and semantics, classifying errors, variables, assignments, statements, creating and using libraries, screen file input/output. Emphasis will be on developing problem solving skills based on top-down and bottom-up design methods for structured programming
