Catalog description

Students will learn the principles of designing a mobile robot from the ground up. This course will focus on the design, construction, and testing of a mobile robot with programmed intelligence using at least one non-IR/sonar rangefinder sensor. Students will learn the history of robotics and apply principles of electronic and mechanical design.
