Civics Internship

Catalog description
Students work in a supervised position in community businesses, industries, nonprofits, organizations, state and/or local Chambers of Commerce, the Indiana General Assembly, Indianapolis City-County Council, or other community and government agencies. Students may enroll and follow the course guidelines for BUS Application and Internship courses with the consent of the instructor. Placements may or may not be paid positions. Students are evaluated both by their supervisor on the job and by means of reflections submitted throughout the internship. A minimum of 60 hours of actual work experience is required for each credit earned. Graded S/U.
