Leadership is a particular type of work: The mobilization of others to make progress on our most difficult challenges - the "swamp issues" that plague our organizations. Organizing people to confront a difficult reality they would rather avoid. In a complex, dynamic environment the effective practice of leadership is essential in achieving results that matter. This course, through intellectual exploration and individual exercises, endeavors to help students show up more productively and generatively in their current roles, as well as develop in preparation for roles of increasing levels of authority. This course will challenge you to take ownership of your own leadership journey and create a path to make progress within yourself, your life, work and the systems within which you operate.
