Catalog description
This course explores the evolution of capitalism and its political, ethical, and cultural impacts on society. Insight from Catholic and Franciscan Intellectual Traditions provides a framework to examine capitalism's moral, social, and ethical responsibilities to society. Other systems of economic organization are contrasted with Capitalism. The course includes a leadership lab with 12 leaders per semester invited to share their views on course topics. CIV-100 should not be taken if taking BUS-100.
