Catalog description
This course will introduce students to the Hispanic business world, the larger political and socio- economic context within which it is rooted and provide students with an overview of Hispanic countries as global market players. Students will learn about financial, economic, political, social, environmental and cultural issues that influence business practices in Latin America and in Spain. Additionally, students will connect with the Hispanic business community in Indianapolis and assess the importance of Spanish to local business practices. Class is taught in Spanish.
