Clinical Experience III

Catalog description

This eight-week, full-time clinical rotation is the final clinical experience in the PTA program, completed in a program-affiliated facility. With supervision from a licensed physical therapist, learners progress towards management of a full caseload, providing comprehensive care including treatment planning, interventions, documentation, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. By the end of this rotation, learners are expected to demonstrate entry-level skills, sound clinical decision-making, and the professional behaviors required for successful physical therapist assistant practice.
