Capstone Construction

Catalog description

This course guides occupational therapy doctoral students in designing comprehensive plans for their 14- week capstone experience and culminating project. Building on site exploration and mentor identification, students develop detailed proposals outlining learning objectives, deliverables, timelines, and evaluation methods. The course emphasizes alignment with ACOTE standards, doctoral competencies, and site expectations, as well as creating learning contracts and mentorship agreements. Students present draft proposals for feedback to refine and strengthen their capstone plans.
