Capstone Initiation

Catalog description

This course guides occupational therapy doctoral students in identifying and engaging with capstone sites and mentors for their 14-week experience. Building on prior capstone ideas, students research placements aligned with their professional goals and proposed project focus. The course emphasizes professional networking, communication skills, and evaluating site capacity and mentor qualifications. Students begin developing capstone proposals outlining their experience, learning objectives, anticipated outcomes, and mentor credentials.
