Catalog description

This faculty-led research course guides occupational therapy doctoral students in executing their approved study and disseminating findings through scholarly writing. Working in small groups, students implement data collection, ensure protocol adherence, and apply quantitative and/or qualitative analyses to answer research questions. The course emphasizes interpretation of results within existing literature, acknowledging limitations, and translating findings for occupational therapy practice. Students produce a comprehensive manuscript suitable for publication or presentation, culminating the research series and developing competencies in study execution, data analysis, and scholarly communication.
