This course explores feeding, eating, and swallowing across the lifespan, placing emphasis on dysphagia management and safety. Students engage in clinical simulations, case-based learning, and hands-on assessments to develop practical skills. Topics include swallowing anatomy, dysphagia types, assessment tools, and individualized intervention strategies. The course prepares students to create safe, effective, and client-centered plans that support participation in feeding and eating.
