This course integrates Level I fieldwork experiences and didactic components across occupational therapy settings, emphasizing the OT role in supporting psychosocial well-being. Students apply foundational OT principles to observe and engage with clients, focusing on social, emotional, and cognitive aspects of participation. Emphasis is placed on professional behavior, clinical reasoning, and understanding how OT interventions promote client-centered outcomes. The course prepares students to integrate classroom learning with practical experiences to support holistic occupational engagement.
