This course builds on foundational knowledge from Conditions in Context I to further examine disabilities and genetic conditions from an occupational therapy perspective. Students explore common developmental, physical, cognitive, and sensory impairments across the lifespan and consider how they influence daily activities and participation. The course emphasizes clinical reasoning to understand complex presentations and their impact on occupational performance. By the end, students will be prepared to identify intervention strategies that support meaningful engagement across diverse contexts.
