This course examines the evolution, principles, and application of occupational therapy theories, models, and frames of reference. Students learn how theoretical frameworks guide evaluation, intervention planning, and outcome assessment across diverse populations and settings. The course emphasizes applying and critiquing theories while integrating evidence-informed practice. By the end, students will demonstrate the ability to use theory to shape holistic, client-centered occupational therapy services.
