Level II Fieldwork B

Catalog description

Level II Fieldwork B provides students with a second 8-week full-time, supervised clinical experience emphasizing integration of academic knowledge, technical competence, and professional behaviors. Building upon prior fieldwork and coursework, students demonstrate increasing autonomy, accountability, and confidence in delivering occupation-based, evidence-informed interventions under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant. This experience supports the transition from student to entry-level practitioner through active engagement in treatment planning and intervention, documentation, interprofessional communication, and ethical decision- making across diverse practice settings and populations.
