Apps of Conditions Across Lifespan
Marian University-Ancilla · UGRD · Fall 2026
Catalog description
This course builds upon the foundational knowledge acquired in Conditions Across the Lifespan, advancing students' examination of body structures and functions through the application and analysis of how occupation and scientific evidence influence the disease process and support prevention across persons, groups, and populations. Students will examine the impact of body functions and body structures on occupational performance while recognizing how developmental factors, lived experiences, values, beliefs, spirituality, and personal identity collectively shape occupational engagement. The course emphasizes expected patterns, progressions, and prognoses of conditions that limit occupational performance, preparing students to integrate anatomical, physiological, and psychosocial factors into their clinical reasoning and intervention planning.
