Catalog description

This Level I Fieldwork experience introduces students to occupational therapy practice through guided observation and introductory participation. Students apply foundational skills in developing an occupational profile, observing occupational performance, and conducting basic activity analysis. Emphasis is placed on professional behaviors, communication, and reflective practice. Under supervision, students begin linking classroom learning to real client's occupational needs, developing therapeutic relationships, and the OTA's role within the interprofessional team.
