Catalog description

This course explores the origins, evolution, and distribution of life in the universe. The course will be interdisciplinary in scope, and examine topics in biology, chemistry, geology, and astronomy to investigate the conditions required for life to emerge and thrive on Earth and beyond. This course is suitable for both science majors and non-majors. Three lecture hours and three lab hours per week.
